Novig is available nationwide except Arizona, Nevada, Michigan and Ohio. If you're 21 or older and physically located in an eligible state or Washington, D.C., you can trade on Novig — residency isn't required, and eligibility is based on where you are when you trade.
Novig operates as a CFTC-designated contract market (Ludlow Exchange, LLC, d/b/a Novig) under federal commodities law — not under state-by-state sports betting licenses. That's why it's live in 46 states plus Washington, D.C., unlike most traditional sportsbooks.
Everywhere else in the United States — including Washington, D.C. — you can sign up and trade.
For the official eligibility rules, see Novig's Eligibility & Legality guide.
Novig is a peer-to-peer sports prediction market: you trade sports event contracts with other users at market prices instead of betting against a bookmaker's line. There's no vig built into prices, and winning contracts always pay the full $1.00.

Yes. Because eligibility follows your physical location, you can trade whenever you're inside an eligible state — even if you live in Arizona, Nevada, Michigan or Ohio. The reverse is also true: trading is unavailable while you're physically inside an excluded state.
